About the Artist

Dorota is a freelance makeup and visual artist from Toronto, Canada. Creating art allows her to express her inner vision, letting the images flow from her imagination and come to life on canvases and faces.

Dorota has over 9 years of experience in all aspects of the makeup industry including fashion, runway, beauty, TV, editorial, bridal, airbrushing, body painting, makeup education, FX, camouflage and much more... She currently teaches makeup artistry courses on regular basis and helps her personal clients become their own makeup experts and enhance their individual style. Aside from teaching she works as a freelance makeup artist participating in corporate and creative makeup events. Every face is a new palette and a new creation…

As a visual artist Dorota has always been intrigued by the enchanted realm of fantasy and surrealism for it does not limit the imagination. Her creations include paintings, murals, crafts, portraits, custom designs, furniture painting/restoration, personal projects and much more… Each of her art pieces is a relic of an experimental journey of vivid colours, contrast, magic, movement and fantasy. Her paintings are are windows to millions of different emotions that have existed and exist in all of us giving the viewer a powerful tool to look within. Dorota is currently working on her tarot deck called Dorotarot as well as other private commissions.
